Outkast: The Videos
By Afsheen Shaikh

If there is one word that sums up OutKast, it's bold.  Bold lyrics, bold attitude and bold fashion.  Hip-hop has been spinning on its axis since the Atlanta duo Big Boi André 'Ice Cold' 3000 strolled onto the scene in 1994 and almost ten years later, they're global superstars.

Their videos have struck a chord, not just because they're so fascinating but unique and entertaining.  'Ms Jackson' with its singing cats and dogs, 'The Whole World' with its travelling circus and the unmissable 'Hey Ya' with the clones of André.

This DVD compilation (helpfully entitled OutKast - The Videos) documents the band's illustrious videos, including the aforementioned tracks as well as 'B.O.B', 'So Fresh, So Clean' and latest single 'The Way You Move', which is included twice, as a single edit and as a full-length version coupled with 'Hey Ya'.

Stylish, clever and bursting with enthusiasm, OutKast's box of videos are as crucial as any of their albums in your collection.  Not one is the same, and not one is forgettable.  Put some colour back into your life, and seize this DVD with both hands.  This is fun in bold letters.
