Dance music has its critics. Disciples of the school of rock sneer that you have to be off your tits to dance to this sort of music. They have a point, erm, up to a point. Yet there are clubbers who abstain from stimulation of the chemical kind. For Christ’s sake, there’s even a movement hailing themselves as “Ravers for Jesus”. And isn’t God a DJ?

The Holy Father himself would no doubt give his blessing to this track. Its more hypnotic than Paul McKenna synth riff, suitably throbbing bass line and soaring vocals deliver a high that’s 100% legal. You won’t be able to stop your feet from jumping all over the place when this kicks in over the speakers.

Ron van den Beuken appears to be a pseudonym for Dutch DJ John van Dongen. Those Netherlands guys sure are crazy. ‘Timeless’ is a pretty apt title, as this is classic trance. It could quite conceivably have been recorded at any time over the last 10 years.

No less than an authority than Judge Jules raves about this. His ruling is spot on. This is music to dance the night away this summer. Keep on moving.
