However, if this delightful morsel is anything to go by, !!! look like they’ve about to deliver another treat following on from sublimely tasty 2004 offering Louden Up Now. Including a 3’45” radio edit and more substantial 6’04 album version, ‘Heart of Hearts’ is a Gossip-tinged disco-loving booty-shaking number. Although the inclusion of a sultry uncredited backing vocalist puts the “warblings” of singer Nic Offer to shame.

Taken from only their third album of an 11-year history, !!! would appear to be shying away from mainstream appeal. This single will do much to reverse this, if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on it. Fan-fucking-tastic, no extra exclamation marks required.
