Well, aren’t we a bunch of slack bastards? Back in December, Afsheen wished everyone a happy new year and here we are two months into 2007 and we’ve barely said a word! Unforgivable I know, but we have great excuses, ha, I mean reasons. There have been illnesses of the mind and body (hardly surprising), job stuff, adventures into the extreme, hanging out with Muse in the US (ahem!), Myspace and Youtube addictions and anything else you can think of that sounds convincing and not at all contrived.
One thing we genuinely have been busy with are interviews and you can’t fail to spot two brand new interviews linked on the main page. First up is Lior, Aussie superstar and intrepid sexual adventurer (read the interview for the juicy details). Then we have the newly revitalised Big Brovaz (sexual status: unknown). Check out these great new interviews and any others you might of missed right here.
Now, believe it or not, we are bombarded with CDs and requests to review unsigned bands and artists. Music tastes and tastes in general within the uk-fusion crew are as varied as the number of potential fathers of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby. Some of us are getting into cool experimental new bands, others hold on tightly to their Rick Astley CDs. It is one of our intentions to wade through the myriad of mediocrity that invests all genres of music to find and bring to you (like an excited child) the very best of what we found hiding in the back garden in the hope you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to invite the opinionated, brave or bored amongst you to write in with any thoughts, feelings, comments, ideas or requests of any nature (and I do mean any nature – we are open to bribery!). Let us know what’s on your mind by emailing me at ryan.lee@uk-fusion.com.
Thanks for reading and we look forward to your thoughts!
