Hello, my lovelies! Mummy has returned. What can I add that Ryan hasn’t already said in last week’s editorial? I do lead a hectic life, and it’s a joke when it sometimes takes me two hours to get home after work and that is within London itself! So by the time I crawl in through the front door, I am pretty shattered.
Well since I last graced this page, there has been a major change – I’ve had my locks chopped off to a mid-length bob. They’re all the rage apparently. Except, however, the change didn’t go down too well with some people. “Why didn’t you consult me first?”, said one person. Erm, should I have got written permission or something? Another even had the gall to say short hair made me look “older” (as if that isn’t hard enough as it is). It’s my hair and I wanted it cut! You know, a new change, a new year plus I had inflicted so much damage to it from blow-drying, straighteners and high-lighting, my tresses were screaming to be rescued. The irony is I’ve had to spend more time looking after it than when I had longer hair. At least I could tie that up on a bad hair day. With short hair, it’s a bad hair day every day! Any way, I wasn’t best pleased when a few disgruntled individuals objected to the chop and I’m now frantically trying to grow it back…gosh, it will take years at this rate.
I was also off sick with flu a couple of weeks ago, which was very unpleasant. I’m still trying to shake off the aftermath of it that is a throaty cough…gives me a raspy voice too. How attractive!
So enough of that. What have we got coming up with uk-fusion? Plenty of course as my minions beaver away, writing reviews on The Gossip, Kaiser Chiefs, The Horrors and plenty more. If you have something to whinge about on here, don’t keep it to yourself, let us know. And if you’d like to be part of this in-crowd, you know where to find me. Keep checking back here for many more updates and I sincerely hope you enjoy reading them. See you next week!
