Impossible to bracket, the Eavises gave up and stuck the Brighton experimentalists on this year’s Other Stage at Glastonbury. Facebook seem just as confused, pairing the band’s official group with the likes of “I Flip My Pillow Over So I Can Feel The Cold Side When I’m Sleeping” and the even more, or even less depending on your take on flippancy, ridiculous “I Don’t Care How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass”. Yet whilst the a-side of this latest single appears almost conservative, aping as it does Parton and co’s signature “Sesame St. on acid”, as one fan put it, sound, the b-sides include Kaori rapping in Japanese on ‘Minor Action’ and, rather more unexpectedly, a subtle cover of The Wicker Man’s ‘Willow Song’ featuring vocals from Chi.
