In a recent interview, Reverend and the Makers frontman Jon McClure claimed, on the basis that Bob Marley died whilst his mother was pregnant with McClure, to be the reincarnation of the reggae legend. It’s a publicity stunt Sandira frontwoman, Sandira, could pull off regarding Patti Smith if a.) Sandira was somewhat younger and b.) Smith wasn’t still in the land of the living. Still, given the similarity between the pair on this latest single, musically and, so it would seem, politically, Sandira could at least purport to be a relation.
