They might as well have called themselves The Scallies, so steeped is this band’s sound in Liverpool’s rich music history. Or The Las, if that name hadn’t gone already. Yet this EP finds the three Scouse 21-year-olds who branched off from The Little Flames, support band of choice for The Coral, The Zutons, and The Arctic Monkeys, continue Merseyside’s fine musical tradition.
