Royworld: Elasticity/Tinman (Label Fandango)
By Matthew Hirtes
Monday, 03 December 2007

They’ve inked a deal with Virgin Records, but Royworld sign off from a past playing indie venues with this debut stadiumtastic offering for the seven-inch revivalists, Label Fandango. Where ‘Elasticity’ sees vocalist Rod Futrille play both Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel in a speeded-up tribute to ‘Don’t Give Up`, ballad ‘Tinman’ is the best Tears For Fears song Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith never recorded. Pretty soon, it’s clear, we’ll all be living in a Royworld world.
