Indie of the couldn’t-fight-its-way-out-of-a-macerated-paper-bag variety, but what do you expect when this Buckinghamshire band take their name from a Polish lullaby. One Matka and Ojciec Ostrakowski used to sing to their sons, Alex and Tristan, who comprise two thirds of kotki dwa, along with childhood friend Tom Walker. And on this debut single, they’ll gently lead you up the wooden hill.
