 Morrissey, David Ford, Leonard Cohen: you’ve got some competition. It’s not just in terms of quality of songwriting that Sheffield’s Neil McSweeney can be compared to such greats. It’s also his morose offerings, note the title of this latest single if you require even further evidence, which, at the very least, conjure up the image of a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
