Coming on like an extra-sullen Tricky who’s possibly just been dumped, The Kills return to our airwaves with this first single from third album Midnight Boom, estimate date of arrival: March 2008. Which may or may not have something to do with band member Hotel aka Jamie Hince’s on-off relationship with Kate Moss. Impossible to imagine existing without Hince or group partner VW, otherwise known as Alison Mosshart, having listened to The Velvet Underground, you’ll hear The Kills, despite their name, preserving rather than murdering the sounds of the Underground.
