Bryan Adams: 11 (Polydor)
By Mojo
Monday, 17 March 2008

Aptly titled to coincide with the release of his eleventh studio album, the unmistakable smoky tones of Canada’s finest export return after an extended break.  His career may have spanned the best part of 25 years but at 48, Bryan isn’t ready to hang up his guitar just yet.  Reuniting that fabulous husky twang with a host of talented musicians, 11 exhibits Adams doing what he does best.

With an already wide following, the initial single 'I Thought I’d Seen Everything' packs in all the right ingredients for yet another Adams success.

The amazing guitar solo on 'Oxygen' is enough to have you strumming the air enthusiastically, whilst signature ballads such as 'Mysterious Ways' create that spine-tingling resonance that you’d expect from a packed arena.

11’s feel is very balanced and does what it says on the tin, delivering rock-steady classics from this timeless legend.  It’s impossible to pick a favourite however but it’s clear'“We Found What We Were Looking For'.
