Supposed bellwethers of 2008’s new music scene, The Courteneers couldn’t be more derivative if they tried. Which may have something to do with the Manchester band’s choice of producer for their debut album St. Jude from which this single is lifted from. None other than the legendary Stephen Street who’s previously collaborated with the likes of The Smiths, Blur, and Babyshambles.
