They’re not big in Japan. Indeed, the Toronto four are barely household names in their own households. But expect to hear a lot more about bassist/singer David Monks, Josh Hook on guitar, keyboardist Graham Wright, and drummer Greg Alsop as this single off soon-to-be released debut album Elephant Shell shows that “hype enough to circle the blogosphere twice over”, as Pitchfok put it, was justified, offering, as it does, a master-class for all aspiring indie-rockers out there.
