In Sligo, there used to be a firm of solicitors called Argue and Phibbs. Where there was once genuinely a Mr Argue and a Mr Phibbs, there’s no Mr Caned or Able enticing emerging rock stars Brigade with an advance. Yet whilst their sound is pretty generic, there’s nothing bogus about a band about to release their second album Come Morning We Fight – as this preview of a single attests.
