It would be easy to dismiss Green Man Says Go as a rival record label’s copycat version of Domino’s Arctic Monkeys. A rival record label so enamoured by ‘Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured’, they were inspired to name a new group in homage to their heroes. Except this debut double-A-sided single is a self-released affair and the Sheffield trio remain unsigned. And GMSG sound much more like an all-male CSS, albeit with Yorkshire accents, than Alex Turner and co any way.
