I think it’s fair to say some of us had an eventful Saturday – Ben finally had his graduation ceremony in Oxford (Wow, Benjamin!  Your mum is reeeeeally tall!  See here!), Mojo had to dust and polish her cupboards and shelves, Matthew had a hang-over as a consequence of the night before (well done for hogging the front page with your hard work!), and Earth Girl and I went to a pre-wedding kind-of-like-a-hen-party er, party for our buddy, Cosmic Girl who is tying the knot this coming Sunday. 

There was lots of umming, aaahing, ‘doesn’t she look lovely?’ and ‘you’re next or you should be!’ type comments made at us – by our own mothers.  That just kicked off things for my mum, who proceeded to blast me for not conforming to all sorts of things.  Plus one particular woman was disturbingly too friendly with me.  Do I look desperate?  Is there an expiry date stamped on my bum?  How about I get ‘best before 35^th birthday’ tattooed on my ovaries?!  (That last bit was suggested by a friend – your humour, I likee very mucho). 

So, this is what my life has come to – being hit on by drunks and prospective mother-in-laws.  By the way, Earth Girl is totally screwed for the wedding – she has nothing to wear!  Any suggestions?

Updates wise, if you haven’t already noticed, you can now read our exclusive interview with Amy from Evanescence and guess what?  We also have one with her boyfriend, Shaun from Seether.  That one will be up any day so look out for that.  (Yeah, kind of slowed down – not slacking! – need to crack that whip harder on the writers.)

Any way, I’m going to toddle off.  Short editorial, I know but as you can see, I don’t have anything wonderfully entertaining to write about this week.  Maybe I’m losing my touch…
