Multi-tasking Ryan doesn’t just write about music, he (tries to) write it too in the shape of lyrics for his band. He’s also the guitarist and owns a total of seven guitars only two of which are playable.

In previous incarnations Ryan’s been involved working in the motorcycle industry as well as spells within the marketing and catering worlds. Currently he wears the badge of ‘Corporate Account manager’, whatever the hell that is.

Born in Aberdeen, but sounding like an English newsreader, Ryan now lives somewhere in the wilderness of Yorkshire. Ryan is uk-fusion’s own Jason Bourne, it isn’t his real name and he is able to get into most high security/backstage areas.

For musical kicks, Ryan listens to Smashing Pumpkins (“best band ever”), Muse, Jeff Buckley, PJ Harvey, Led Zeppelin, Silverchair, Portishead, Machinehead, N*E*R*D, Mozart and everything inbetween.

His favourite flicks include Interview With The Vampire, Dangerous Liasons, The Crow and old Jackie Chan movies. Ryan loves motorbikes, the Oakley brand and everything that's bad for you.
 
Worryingly, Ryan has a few samurai swords dotted around bedroom (not just for decoration) and as a homage to the editor, he owns a black trilby hat which only wears in places noone knows him, despite remaining positive he looks cool wearing it.
