Win Stuff!

We like to party!

Ooh, my! What a week it has been. Yay to Mojo whose birthday celebrations lasted approximately three whole days with breaks in-between to recuperate. After just half a glass of Bacardi Breezer, the girl was away with the fairies – you must have a stomach made of cotton wool, love.

As a result, my pockets are empty and I lost half of my right thumbnail in the process but those are the risks you run when you go ten-pin bowling. I tell ya, I got a strike – very chuffed about that. What wasn’t pleasant was copping an eyeful of a 10/11-year-old’s arse crack whenever she bent down to pick up a ball. Disgusting! You may be aware that Bluewater shopping centre in Kent has banned anyone wearing hoodies and baseballs, well perhaps a rule should be imposed on prepubescent girls from wearing anything that is low-rising and cropped. I don’t think she was wearing any pants, come to think of it. Seriously, too much of her rear was exposed to the entire contingent inside Queensway’s bowling alley.

Speaking of arses, we were intrigued earlier when a large police van pulled up at a bus stop and out jumped four coppers. Lots of freaks were milling around the area of Bayswater therefore we thought it was normal procedure for the police to run a check. Five minutes later, each officer came bounding back to the van with a large Tesco’s carrier bag in tow, containing their lunch which they proceeded to wolf down like pigs to a trough. Pardon my French here but the fucking nerve – parking in a bus stop bay just to buy lunch! I tried to take a photo but the female copper looked like she was giving me a filthy look so I chickened out. Well, I didn't want to risk being approached by the police for the second time this year.

Elsewhere, Ryan’s rather hyper after meeting JJ72, whom he had a good old natter with after their show in Leeds last night. And guess what? We do indeed have an interview with the band so keep your eyes peeled for that to appear on the site very soon. Would you just look at how they bonded? I'm so pleased Ryan's got some new chums now.

We also have an interview with three bands from the Roadrage Tour, who are Trivium, 3 Inches Of Blood (good grief, what a name) and Still Remains, thanks to Ben who also caught their show when they rolled into Oxford on Friday, the 13th.

By the way, I finally got my mitts on Electric Six’s latest album, Senor Smoke, and dear Lord, it’s awful! I now understand why XL dropped them, seeing as they didn’t want to be associated with funding and backing such a crap album. Believe me, the cover of ‘Radio Ga-Ga’ is the best track on it. Come on, Dick - sort it out!

Time for me to exit out of here. Same time again next week?
